“I have always had a passion for glass since I was younger. My husband’s Mother was a stained glass artist and after she passed, we took lessons and have been doing glass for almost 14 years now. My husband, Doug, and I started Big Island Stained Glass two years ago. We both love the challenge of creating new designs for our clients, who have a vision in mind of what they would like to see in their home. We also have a passion for teaching and hold classes in our home studio five days a week. It’s so rewarding to see people from all over the World, as well as Hawaii residents, make their own special treasure to bring home. Lastly, we also restore and repair many treasured heirlooms.”
